Come and help at our toddler sessions

Leading group activities volunteers needed for Museum of English Rural Life (MERL) in RG1

We are looking for volunteers to help at our toddler sessions,  Friday Fledglings, which is run by Charlotte, a local teacher and Level 3 Forest Leader.

Sessions will take their inspiration from the themes and collections of the museum and focus on outdoor play and exploration of the natural environment.

They will involve

  • story-telling
  • craft activities
  • singing

Volunteers will assist with

  • meeting and greeting families
  • craft activities
  • generally helping the sessions run smoothly.

The sessions take place in the museum’s garden and go ahead whatever the weather.
