Bring your skills and experience to this family support charity
Trustee / Committee volunteers needed for Home-Start Reading in RG30
We are looking for trustees to work alongside a small staff in guiding the charity, ensuring its continuing good governance and effective practice. They will have the opportunity to suggest ways in which Home-Start Reading can best support families in difficulties, and can help shape projects and monitor outcomes.
Some trustees will have specific skills that they can best utilise through:
- Organising fundraising events
- publicising Home-Start’s work locally
- talking to local groups or preparing news releases.
We would also be delighted to find Trustees who would be willing to take on HR, quality assurance roles or who can undertake basic research into local needs to feed into our funding applications.
