Become part of the team in our charity shop

Shop work / Retail volunteers needed for Sue Ryder Shop (The Meadway) in RG30

We are looking for volunteers to become part of the team in our charity shop in Meadway Precinct.

We are a small but busy and friendly shop and we like to have a good relationship with our many regular customers.

Tasks would include:

  • manning the till
  • taking donations
  • sorting, hanging, labelling and pricing
  • steaming clothes
  • restocking the shopfloor
  • keeping the shop tidy some data inputting.

We all try to ‘muck’ in but if there were certain jobs you didn’t like then that would be fine.

Ideally we are looking for someone to be regular in their hours but that could range from 4 hours to several days per week.

Come into the shop for a taster session if you wish. We will give you free parking, a cup of tea and set you off on a enjoyable and useful way to spend your free time.
