Be part of the Inaugural Reading on Thames Festival – 7-17 September 2017
Stewarding / Event Support volunteers needed for Reading UK CIC
Volunteers will be integral to the running of the inaugural Reading on Thames Festival. The aim of volunteer stewards is to help make sure the performances go without a hitch and both the audience and performers are happy. This might mean that you are selling or checking tickets, helping the acts set up or liaising with committee members or ensuring that the site is secure, all with the support of a volunteer manager.
This is a great opportunity to get involved with a brand new festival, and may be of particular interest to those looking for experience in live arts events, arts administration or customer service. Stewards should be friendly, approachable and always willing to help. You must have great team spirit and be reliable and adaptable at all times.
You can volunteer as much or as little time as you are able during the festival, but we do ask that you are available for one training session in the run-up to the Festival (roughly 1 hour long).
Some venues have wheelchair access and parking spaces for volunteers. All venues have good public transport links.
We look forward to hearing form you!!
