Accompany new members to our sport sessions

Reception / Meet and greet volunteers needed for Sport in Mind

Sport in Mind is looking for ad-hoc volunteers who can accompany new service users experiencing mental health problem to our sessions in order to make our activities more accessible.

This would include meeting the new service user near the session venue and accompanying them. You would then help the service user to engage in the activity and encourage them to get involved in games with other attendees.

Suitable volunteers for this role would need to be supportive, enthusiastic and understanding of the nature of mental health problems.
