Part of Adviza, Time to Talk Reading is a free confidential counselling service available for all young people in Reading aged 13-19 (up to 25 years for young people with special needs).

Counselling provides a safe place for young people to talk through their concerns and problems, to feel listened to, with no judgement, to be respected and encouraged.

We support young people with various issues in their lives including family, relationships, confidence, stress and anxiety, bullying, depression, substance misuse, anger management, self harm, abuse, disability and many more.

All our counsellors are chosen carefully, CRB checked and trained in areas such as Child Protection to work effectively with young people. We are members of BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and abide by their code of practice.

By adding counselling to Connexions’ well established Information, Advice and Guidance services we will provide an open door for young people to talk with us about a whole range of issues that concern them in a safe and confidential setting.
