The Mustard Tree Foundation (Reading) is a family of projects seeking to be a voice for the unheard. We support and empower the misunderstood or overlooked in our community and are committed to enabling social action to bring about positive change.
Each Mustard Tree project shapes itself according to the needs of the clients it serves, making us flexible and effective. This is because we believe that the voices of our clients are important. Enabling them to share their experiences and opinions enriches our community, giving us clearer vision to solve problems strategically and practically. There are opportunities to volunteer within each of the projects – give us a call if you would like to find out more.
Engage Befriending – Reconnecting isolated older people into community through volunteer befriending.

Reading Lifeline – Signposting, counselling and support for anyone facing decision or loss in, during or after pregnancy.
Starting Point Reading – Helping young adults currently not in education, employment or training to access suitable opportunities through one-to-one mentoring and work experience.
