The Mustard Tree supports and empowers the marginalised or overlooked by enabling social action, creating and supporting projects which address unmet needs, and speaking up for the unheard.
We currently have four projects:
Engage Befriending – Connecting isolated older people with their local community through regular visits from a volunteer befriender.
Rahab – Identifying and supporting and empowering anyone who is affected by exploitation.
Reading Lifeline – Counselling and support groups for those affected by infertility and baby loss during pregnancy or soon after birth.
Starting Point Reading – Providing support for young people aged 16 – 25 who are not in education, employment or training, through mentoring and work experience.
There are opportunities to volunteer for each of these projects. Please contact us for more information
