Dingley provides a place where children – from birth to five – with additional needs and disabilities can develop skills through play under the supervision of qualified staff. Parents and carers are also welcome, and for them Dingley centres are places to make friends and share experiences. At present, we are supporting over 90 children and their families at the three Dingley centres in Berkshire.
Every child who attends is regarded as an individual with the right to take a full and active part in every day life and Dingley aims to facilitate their entry into the next stage of education
What we do
Qualified staff plan specific programmes tailored to each family’s needs. The child’s development is nurtured through play and the group works in close partnership with parents, carers and health/education professionals.
We follow the EYFS framework and help to develop children’s concentration and listening skills using craft activities, music sessions, outdoor play and. Fun and games.
How to refer
A child can be referred from Health or Education professionals: such as GP, Phyio, Health Visitor, Preschool teacher, portage service etc or parents/carers can self-refer.
Please see our website for a referral form.
