Trainer – closing date 27 October 2017

Dingley’s Promise supports children aged 0-5 years with SEND, and their families. We are a local charity operating across Berkshire with centres in Reading, Wokingham and West Berkshire, but we also have an impact nationally, believing in the best start for every child.

We are committed to reaching as many children and families as possible and we aim to build the knowledge and skills of more practitioners in mainstream settings so that they can better include children with SEND, and ensure more children can experience mainstream inclusive education.

We are launching a training programme to skill up practitioners in mainstream settings to be able to support children with SEND through meaningful inclusive practice. The course is accredited by NCFE at Level 3 with four units, and takes four months to complete.

Delivery is online with a Skype group session at the beginning and end of each unit, and practical activities in the learners setting. Assessment is through submission of a learning journal at the end of each module.

We are looking for a skilled Trainer, qualified to a minimum of a Level 3 in Childcare, to teach, guide and support learners who have booked onto our training programme.
