At the Oxford Road Timebank we are seeking to recruit a Timebank Coordinator to help us increase our membership and increase participation in local community activity. Working with the Oxford Road Timebank committee and the Lead Timebroker, the job involves talking to people, groups and organisations in the Oxford Road area, spreading the word about the timebank and getting people to join and become active members. The postholder will ‘broker’ time exchanges between members, organise social activities, support people to start groups and capture good news stories about the timebank’s impact on the local community.
This is a part-time, flexible position and would suit someone who loves working with people, has the initiative and passion to make our timebank a success and who shares our commitment to community, equality and inclusion. Ideally you will have experience of community development work and good local knowledge. Good IT and organisational skills are essential.
10-20 hours per week, worked flexibly, including some evenings and weekends by mutual arrangement. This is a one year fixed-term contract.
Please email Lynda McCann at firstname.lastname@example.org for a full job description. Application is by CV and covering letter.
