New Directions is Reading Borough Council’s Community Learning and Skills service. We’re funded by Government to provide learning opportunities to adults who most need our help and support.
Reading Borough Council has been successful in securing an additional £1.3m of Big Lottery Fund and European Social Fund investment to deliver the ‘Stronger Together’ partnership project, which aims to tackle barriers to employment.
As the Compliance Officer you will scrutinise all project claims received from partners and submit verified claims to Big Lottery Fund via their secure portal.
The partnership consists of 14 not-for-profit and voluntary and community sector organisations. The Compliance Officer will report to the Project Manager and work closely with the partners to ensure claims are timely and successful.
You will have demonstrable experience work methodically and have excellent attention to detail and be able to demonstrate organisation and communication skills. Ideally you will have experience of working within a partnership project or multi-stakeholder environment.
