Self-employed social worker – closing date 24 March 2017

PACT, a voluntary adoption agency, has been at the forefront of adoption services for over 60 years. With our outstanding Ofsted rating we work with a high degree of flexibility and innovation and work with a range of adopters from all backgrounds, including those from black and minority ethnic heritage and the LGBT community.

We are looking for exceptional self-employed social workers across the south east, including London and the home-counties.

If you are a self-employed, qualified and experienced adoption social worker looking to undertake initial interviews, adoption assessments and post-placement support we would like to hear from you. You must be HCPC registered and have three years’ post qualifying experience in children’s social work including direct experience in adoption. You will need to have access to your own transport, be willing to travel and hold your own professional indemnity insurance.

We are also looking for therapeutically trained social workers with a good understanding and experience of working with trauma and attachment issues to provide excellent therapeutic support to our children and families. You must have appropriate membership with a professional organisation.

We can offer a competitive rate and you will be provided with support and consultation for each assignment.
