RVA Ready Friends Coordinator – closing date 13 July 2018

We are looking for an experienced community development worker with the motivation and skills to build on our loneliness and isolation work. An exciting opportunity for anyone who cares about social action in Reading, who is self motivated and able to engage the public in our campaign.

Your role will be to encourage community participation in collaborative activity and your success will:

  • Enable those wishing to participate in community activity to access information and resources,
  • Provide an interesting, informative and inspiring training programme,
  • Coordinate a campaign to motivate the public to become community champions,
  • Organise a partnership of organisations to build capacity to reduce loneliness and isolation in Reading.
