Refuge Worker (part time) – closing date 29 May 2018

Berkshire Women’s Aid is looking to appoint a Refuge Worker to support the work within one of our refuges in Bracknell. You will be an active member of the team, have good listening skills and provide non-judgmental and non-directive support. Knowledge of welfare benefits and the complex issues facing women fleeing domestic abuse would be an advantage.

For the above vacancy, the ideal candidate will have experience of working in a confidential and safeguarding environment, and have an understanding of domestic abuse and its impact on families.

The role is 15 hours per week.

An enhanced DBS check will be required for the successful candidate for this role.
