Building Family Bridges project is designed to improve the prospects of families with complex needs in Berkshire, by addressing the barriers that prevent them from entering and sustaining employment.
The Workers’ Educational Association (WEA) leads a strong partnership of experienced organisations to deliver the project into the heart of communities. Groundwork South is a case-holding and delivery partner within the partnership.
The Project Manager, known as Family Support Worker, within the Building Family Bridges project will be responsible for providing continuous support and one-to-one mentoring and guidance for participants and their families to ensure participants engage with the project and make progress towards their long-term employment goals.
The Family Support Worker will assist families to build the ‘bridge’ between services, thereby overcoming the individual barrier they face to finding and sustaining employment. The Family Support worker will ensure a bespoke and tailored approach is taken and documented in a bespoke portfolio for each family.
