Could you run a weekly coffee morning for older people?
We have recently successfully moved the venue of our Pop-In coffee morning to the Hexagon from the council offices, which we feel has made an instant improvement. We now want to develop the Pop-In to make it friendlier, more vibrant and have a better information and advice function.
Key to this will be the employment of a Pop-In Co-ordinator whose job will be to “own” the Pop-In. Their task will be to act as the main contact, co-ordinate events on the day and book in activities, and generally act as a warm welcoming presence to ensure new attendees are welcomed and happy so that they wish to come back.
The candidate needs to be a well-organised person with great people skills who would like to contribute to making the service better.
If the candidate would like to have a broader role, we will consider extending this post to become trained as a member of bank staff for our social clubs.
Please contact our office for an informal chat about the role or to ask for a job pack.
