Office Manager and Volunteer Coordinator – closing date 16 March 2018

30 hours per week. Working hours by agreement. One year contract (continued subject to funding).
Salary NJC SP 18 – 21 Starting point 18 £18, 070 (pro rata) + 6% pension contribution (pro rata).
Holidays: 25 days per year (pro rata).

This is a critical post which will be the backbone of our organisation underpinning and ensuring the smooth and professional day-to-day running of our busy office.

You will have at least one year’s experience of managing an office, preferably in a client-facing charity. We are seeking a team player with initiative and a sense of humour. You will have excellent organisational, communication and computer skills (MS software and social media apps), experience of general office duties including databases, banking petty cash control, admin support for staff and other meetings.

You will carry out basic HR-related duties to support the CEO and will be familiar with or be able to learn how to use ‘BreatheHR’ software. You will also be responsible for coordinating our volunteers, leading on their recruitment, induction and support.

Excellent spoken and written English is essential to this post. Other languages may be of benefit to your application. Attendance at management committee meetings may be required.
