Do you have the vision to develop the marketing and communications strategy for our growing national charity and the drive to manage and deliver it?
This is a senior position and you will be educated to degree level or equivalent and have a minimum of three years marketing and communications experience.
You will be presentable, with a warm and approachable demeanour. You will also be a confident communicator, who is just as comfortable dealing with a consultant surgeon or the CEO of a charity, as you are with a worried patient on the eve of their surgery.
The marketing and communications manager is responsible for the charity’s website and social media platforms as well as creating written content for a variety of audiences and different media. You must possess exceptional written skills, effective proof reading and a key eye for a misplaced comma as well as in-depth knowledge of social media. A gift for telling stories in compelling and informative ways is advantageous.
