An opportunity has arisen for a Learning and Development Team Leader at Citizens Advice Reading. We are a large town centre advice service which sees in excess of 7000 clients per year. There are approximately 100 volunteers and 20 paid staff.
This role would be part of the Advice Services Team and would be responsible for supporting the Advice Services Manager with the in-house training and development of volunteer advisers, receptionists and administrators. This includes overseeing new volunteers on rota, developing experienced volunteers, carrying out reviews and giving feedback where necessary. You will also deliver training on soft skills and enquiry areas such as debt, benefits, housing and employment.
We are looking for somebody who has excellent communication skills, who is a strong team player and who has a good understanding of the Advice areas we cover.
