We are looking for a friendly, self-motivated and caring individual to work alongside our current Home from Hospital worker. We are a very friendly team and have a huge amount of job satisfaction. This post will be a part-time job share and will take place on Thursdays and Fridays for a total of 15 hours per week. You will be working mainly in the Wokingham area.
If you’re looking to give back to your local community by helping older people settle back into their homes after being in hospital and easing their transition back to normal life, we’d love to hear from you. You’ll be doing things like food shopping, cleaning, arranging GP appointments, ordering medication, and supporting clients with information, advice and signposting them to other relevant services that will help them in the future.
But this role is more than just the physical duties. The right candidate will be a friendly face to vulnerable older people during their most difficult times, which is needed now more than ever. As well as excellent teamworking abilities, we require someone with good IT literacy as you will be frequently recording clients’ details on our bespoke database.
Please email tamsin.phipps@ageukberkshire.org.uk or info@ageukberkshire.org.uk for the application form.
