Fundraising Assistant – closing date 3 June 2018

This role is part time and for a fixed term of one year initially. It is a new role which has the scope for increased hours and responsibility and an extended contract term in the future.

Purpose

In this high-profile role, you will support all of the fundraising activities of Citizens Advice Bracknell & District, working directly with the CEO, Trustees and the local community:

  • Providing a central point of contact for all things funding-related
  • Supporting the delivery of our fundraising plan, with support and mentoring from colleagues and from an external expert fundraising team
Qualifications and experience

You will:

  • have excellent verbal and written skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people
  • be organised and have good IT skills, able to work confidently in Office (including word, excel, PowerPoint and database packages) and online
  • be able to plan and organise your own work to meet deadlines and to a high level of quality and detail
  • be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team

Marketing and events management experience would be desirable, as would a driving license and your own transport
