BB4K is a specialist support programme developed by PACT for children (5 to 12 years old) who have been affected by domestic abuse. BB4K is a 10 week programme for children and their non-abusing parent that uses therapeutic techniques to allow children to address their experiences.
You will provide outreach support to families affected by domestic abuse, as well as delivering the programme on a one-to-one basis and delivery of other domestic abuse groups (such as Recovery Toolkit).
You will also play a key role in helping to plan and promote the programme and training volunteers and local practitioners to co-facilitate the delivery of groups.
We are looking for someone with a sound understanding of domestic abuse and proven experience of delivering group work programmes for vulnerable parents and children in community settings. As this role works across multiple sites it is essential that you have your own transport.
This role is a part time role working 18.5 hours per week and will be worked term time only. It is a fixed term contract from 4 September 2017 to 30 April 2018.
