Alana House is an innovative women’s community project that uses a holistic approach to support vulnerable and disadvantaged women with complex needs. Alana House provides a safe women-only space to over 70 women every month, with the aim of empowering women to access the support they need and improve the outcomes for them, their families and the wider community.

Our Communities team are looking for a Family Support Worker to join them to work specifically on the Building Family Bridges community project. Working across the Berkshire area, you will use your experience and enthusiasm to provide individually tailored support, one-to-one mentoring and guidance, and facilitation of group work, for participants and their families to ensure participants engage with the project, overcome barriers to accessing services, and make progress towards their long-term goals.

PACT is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults, so please note that our recruitment procedure includes DBS, overseas checks and relevant permission to work in the UK.

Having regard to the nature and context of the work, there is a genuine occupational requirement permitted under the Equality Act 2010 that this post is only available to women.
