An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Trainer at Citizens Advice Reading. We are a large town centre advice service which sees in excess of 7,000 clients per year. There are approximately 100 volunteers and 20 paid staff.
This role would be part of the training team and would be responsible for supporting the Training Manager with the in-house training and development of staff and volunteers. This includes delivering the Adviser training programme with training on soft skills and enquiry areas such as debt, benefits, housing and employment. You would also be required to carry out reviews and give feedback where necessary.
We are looking for somebody who has excellent communication skills, who is a strong team player and who has a good understanding of the Advice areas we cover.
Experience of delivering training and supporting staff is desirable but not essential, as is a Citizens Advice Adviser Certificate of Competence.
