Friday 26 February: Self confidence
We will start Survival Guide with our fantastic self-confidence workshop to help you to recognise your strengths, skills and abilities.
Friday 5 March: Employment
Find out what you need to do to find the right job for you. Understand your rights and responsibilities as an employee and gain an insight into the requirements and expectations of employers. Plan your journey to find and get your dream job.
Friday 12 March: Communication
Learn about the different types of communication, including non-verbal messages. Discover new ways of communicating using digital technologies. Find the communication method that works best for you.
Friday 19 March: Relationships
Understand the difference between personal and professional relationships. Learn how different communication styles apply to different work place situations. Find out how to manage difficult situations with your manager or colleagues.
Friday 26 March: Re-cap and progression
In this session we will re-visit the work you have done over the previous weeks and remind you of key points and coping strategies. We will discuss your ‘next steps’ in your journey to finding a job and provide access to practical and on-going resources.
