Sunday Assembly Reading: we came, we played, we went home happy

Sunday 23 July 2017

Play has been shown to help adults in many areas including stress relief, improved brain function, boosting creativity, improving relationships and keeping you feeling young and energetic.

This month our very own Sam Butler – who is an artistic director of Fevered Sleep, an innovative multi-disciplined arts company – will be our Games Master Almighty. Sam will lead you through an array of engaging, inclusive, non-competitive group games. Those of you who attended our Field Called Wonder event will know what fun they are.

The Sunday Assembly is a free secular congregation that celebrates life, meeting once a month at The Irish Centre. Members of Sunday Assembly believe in Living Better, Helping Often and Wondering More, for no other reason than to make the most of the one life we know we have.

As always there will be great songs to sing, poetry to hear, cakes to eat, friends to meet and community to belong to.

The Assembly welcomes people of all ages and all backgrounds.
