You are cordially invited to our special Iftar Dinner on 29 of May 2019 at Crowne Plaza Reading to promote fellowship, peace and solidarity.
As you may know, the holy month of Ramadan is commencing on 5 May this year. Ramadan is a month when the relationships within and outside the community are strengthened by fasting and breaking the fast together. To reinforce the friendship and dialogue between diverse communities, we gather in intercultural dinners during Ramadan with people from all walks of life – of varied communities, faith groups and non-faith groups – to emphasise values such as mutual understanding, deep respect, love, and peace. In this respect, as the Fellowship Educational Society, we would like to invite you to our special Iftar Dinner with our volunteers and friends along with other organisations, if your diary permits, on 29 of May 2019 at Crowne Plaza Reading.
The dinner’s theme this year will be unity, and it will be a great honour to see you at the dinner. Please register here, by 10pm on 24 May.
Co-organisers: Fellowship Educational Society, Reading Borough Council and the Dialogue Society. The event is free, but donations are welcome. Suggested donation is £15 per person.
