Peer Support Training Programme – Fridays 3, 10, 17, 24 November 2017

Have you experienced mental health difficulties? Would you like to use your experiences to support others and be part of our peer support team at Reading Your Way?

Peer Support is at the heart of our service at Reading Your Way and we are looking to recruit peer supporters and build our peer support team. The role offers free 4-day training course, regular supervision and team meetings and an encouraging and supportive environment.

The four-day course will cover:

Day 1 – Peer support and the role of peer supporters
Day 2 – Motivating people and inspiring hope
Day 3 – Sharing our stories
Day 4 – Coaching for hope and keeping well.
