Mental Health Starts in the Womb Conference

Thursday 9 November 2017

This is Reading’s first Mental Health Starts in the Womb conference, put together by local charities and interest groups to raise awareness of the problems caused by the lack of prevention in families.

The conference aims to raise awareness of professionals and parents of the importance of foetal development in pregnancy and the first few years of the infant’s life. We have five expert speakers, including George Hoskings OBE, Professor Jane Barlow and Professor Vivette Glover. Workshops will take place in the afternoon.

Ticket prices: statutory & private sectors  £70, voluntary sector  £50, individuals  £40.
