1 in 4 adults and 1 in 10 children are likely to have a mental health problem in any given year. This can have huge impact on the lives of many people – affecting their ability to work, sustain relationships or just get through the day. An understanding of patterns of mental health problems, their causes and solutions will help us reduce and manage those impacts.
As part of Mental Health Day, Berkshire Health Foundation Trust and other community groups including the Alliance & Cohesion For Racial Equality (ACRE), Utulivu Women’s Group, Whitley Community Development Association and other community groups will hold a talk on Me, My Mind & I: Shades of Mental Health. Come and join us for this very important talk as you connect and are connected with the wider community for your wellbeing. Tell a friend and encourage them to join the big team. Lunch will be provided.
