As a trusted and established training service, Citizens Advice Reading Training Services has been offering courses to a wide range of organisations for over 10 years particularly to front line workers and their managers.

About the course

The course provides an overview of universal credit. It will cover the following:

  • What is universal credit?
  • Who is eligible?
  • How to claim
  • How universal credit is calculated
  • How other benefits are affected
  • Claimant commitment
  • Conditionality groups
  • Sanctions
Practicalities

The course runs from 10 am to 1 pm and is delivered at our offices on Minster Street by one of our experienced trainers.

The cost per delegate is £50 (charity), £60 (statutory), £90 (commercial). Discounts for multiple bookings. All fees cover training, support materials and tea and coffee.

In-house courses
