Introduction to Sickness and Disability Benefits

Tuesday 6 March 2018

As a trusted and established training service, Citizens Advice Reading Training Services has been offering courses to a wide range of organisations for over 10 years – particularly to front line workers and their managers. This course covers sickness and disability benefits in depth. It is suitable for delegates who have either attended the Introduction to Benefits course or who have a basic understanding of benefits already. It will cover the following benefits:

• Statutory sick pay.
• Disability living allowance for children.
• Attendance and carers’ allowance.
• Employment and support allowance.
• Personal independence payment.

The course runs from 10 am – 4 pm and is delivered at our offices on Minster Street by one of our experienced trainers.

The course fee is: £90 per delegate (charities)/£110 (statutory)/£160 (commercial). Discounts are available for multiple bookings. All fees cover training, support materials and tea and coffee.

We also offer tailored/in-house courses for organisations. If you would like a group to be trained either at your premises or at ours, do contact us for further details.
