RVA are partnering with the Foundation for Social Improvement (FSI) to offer small and local charities and community groups three mini workshops in Reading! The workshops will cover the following three key fundraising skills. The sessions are just 1.5 hours to make them as accessible as possible for busy charity employees/ volunteers!
Developing Your Fundraising Strategy (10.15 – 11.45am)
A comprehensive and effective fundraising strategy is at the core of sustainability for any charity. This workshop will help you to consider a variety of fundraising options and consider their appropriateness for your cause, organisation and both short- and long-term needs.
Demonstrating Your Impact, and Stewardship (12noon – 1.30pm)
Effectively demonstrating your impact to your key stakeholders such as donors, grant makers, partners, trustees, media and staff is essential for securing ongoing support for your work. This workshop was designed to help you communicate your impact with stakeholders.
Retaining & Maintaining Donors (2.15 – 3.45pm)
Stewardship is an often overlooked process but is a critical tool to build and maintain ‘life long’ relationships with your charity. This workshop will help you to understanding the vital role of Stewardship in increasing long term support.
