On Wednesday 23 September 2020 join The Muslim Women’s Network UK and others explore the roles of Board members on Public and Private Boards of Directors.
Hear about the roles of board directors, and how this may differ in public and private boards. Understand better the process of recruitment, responsibilities, the time commitment, skills and experiences required to take on the role. This is the opportunity to ask all the questions you have of others in the role and consider whether now is the time for you to put yourself forward.
This project is funded by Comic Relief and is part of the Equal Power project led by the Fawcett Society and a coalition of other organisations. Equal Power intends to create a safe space where all participants are able to express themselves freely among sisters without fear. Please read more about their values here. By attending this event you are agreeing to standing by these principles.
Equal Power are committed to ensuring that this workshop accommodates the needs of all BAME women. When registering for the event you will be asked if you have access requirements such as a BSL interpreter or a notetaker. They will do everything they can to ensure these needs are met. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to talk further about the support you need.
