This is multi-agency training for staff/volunteers across Reading in the local authority, health services, education, police, probation, drug and alcohol services and the voluntary and independent sector.
This course aims to enable delegates to use the DASH model (domestic abuse, stalking and harassment risk assessment) to identify standard, medium and high risk cases for risk identification, intervention and prevention. It includes sessions on effective communication skills.
This is a level 2 course: delegates must have completed level 1 training or have undertaken equivalent learning before attending.
The training takes place over two dates – 16 and 17 March 2021 – and will be delivered by Reading Borough Council’s Safeguarding Adults team via MS Teams.
