The Contemporary Brazilian Music Film Season will take place at the Reading Film Theatre over a period of 10 weeks from 17 January to 23 March 2018. The Season will be held in combination with the course ‘Brazilian Music and Film’, focusing on the ways in which these two media combine and cross-pollinate. The season and course emerge from research undertaken as part of the AHRC-FAPESP funded research project ‘Towards an Intermedial History of Brazilian Cinema: Exploring Intermediality as a Historiographic Method’ (IntermIdia).
