Our popular Christmas Market at St Michael’s Church Hall.
Sunday 2 December, 6.30pm
The traditional celebrations for Christmas begin with Advent Songs of Praise with the choir.
Sunday 16 December, 9.30am
Our annual Christingle service is for all ages and the uniformed organisations take a special part. The proceeds for this service always go to the Children’s Society.
Christmas Eve, 24 December
Christmas Eve beings with a Crib service at 4pm. Children – please dress up as any character from the nativity story and come and join in – there is room for all! And mums and dads, grannies, grandads and friends from far away are very welcome too to share in the fun!
The traditional service of Nine Lessons and Carols is at 6.30 pm, when we can join in singing all our favourites and listen to the wonderful story of the coming of Jesus Christ to this world.
The First Mass of Christmas starts at 11.30pm even though we think of it as “Midnight Mass”. Do come early, the church is always full!
Christmas Day, 25 December
And on Christmas Day, 25 December, there is a Family Eucharist at 10am. Everything is accessible to wheelchair users.
