Autism and anger management for professsionals

Friday 8 June 2018

Autistic children can be affected by distressed behaviour and meltdowns. This workshop will look at ways to cope and how to help children to understand and communicate feelings.

The session will be led by Carly Jones, an autism advocate from Berkshire, who has two autistic daughters and was herself diagnosed as autistic as an adult.

The workshop is suitable for school staff, children’s social care workers and those working in the voluntary sector.

Thanks to funding from RCVYS (Reading Children’s & Voluntary Youth Services) Autism Berkshire is able to offer this workshop to professionals who work with autistic children in the Borough of Reading at a discounted rate of £10 per person.

Professionals working in other council areas are welcome to attend but will be charged £30 per person. For bookings from outside Reading, please call the Autism Berkshire office on 01189 594 594 or email

All delegates will receive a training pack and certificate.

We reserve the right to cancel if fewer than four people have booked for a workshop.

The funding from RCVYS also allows us to offer schools and pre-schools in the Borough of Reading bespoke twilight or INSET training sessions at their premises for a fee of just £75, representing a significant discount on our usual bespoke training fee of £250 per session. Contact our office to discuss specific requirements and to book a session.
