Thanks to advances in healthcare and living conditions, our population is able to live longer. This has led to a growing number of older adults living alone, making them more vulnerable to both physical and mental illness.
Our study will be investigating acceptability of camera-based technology in the home. This assistive technology would be able to assess the mental health of individuals living alone, as well as maintaining their independence.

The focus groups will be running on the following dates:
15 July: Older adults focus group (10 – 12 pm at Reading Civic Centre)
17 July: Carers focus group (2 – 4pm at Whiteknights campus)
