Reading’s Health and Wellbeing Board is meeting on Friday 19 January at 2:00 pm in the Council Chamber. On the agenda:

  • Making Reading a place where people can live well with dementia: a report giving an update on delivery against the Health and Wellbeing Strategy Priority 6.
  • Improving Healthy Lifestyles in Reading, the pillar of prevention: a report giving an update on work to address priorities 1 and 5 in the Reading Health and Wellbeing Strategy (1: supporting people to make healthy lifestyle choices such as improving dental care, reducing obesity, increasing physical activity, reducing smoking and 5: reducing the amount of alcohol people drink to safe levels).
  • Cancer update: a report summarising the work underway across Berkshire West in relation to cancer detection and treatment.
