Last weekend saw the RFC Community Trust day take place and it was a great success.
As part of the community day, the trust became signatories to the Mental Health and Wellbeing Charter to promote better emotional wellbeing and tackle stigma. They were presented with the charter by their invited guest, Paul Farmer, the Chief Executive of Mind, who also happens to be a massive Reading FC fan.
As part of the day, the trust focused on the emotional wellbeing of our fans and communities and we were pleased to launch our programme of ‘Talking Tactics’, a coming together for anyone interested in having a chat over a cuppa and talking about football, with some interesting information being made available for improving our mental and emotional wellbeing. These will happen up at the club between 7pm and 9pm monthly.
