There’s been a lot happening in the NHS recently – the introduction of Primary Care Networks (PCNs), the launch of Berkshire West Integrated Care Partnership (BWICP) and the move to a Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire Integrated Care System (BOBICS) to name but a few!

One thing that hasn’t changed is the commitment to keep people’s needs at the centre of all we do, as voluntary organisations and health/social care agencies. And at the heart of this is our work with partners and local people to create communities where people’s health, wellbeing and happiness are top of the agenda.

Your input in this work is vital which is why BWICP is hosting an event on Wednesday 11 September 2019 at the University of Reading.

We will be looking at ‘neighbourhoods’ – what makes a neighbourhood, what people would like to see in their neighbourhood and what we can all do, together, to help make it happen. The ICP particularly wants voluntary organisations to be involved because of our knowledge and experience working in neighbourhoods.
