There is national and regional evidence that restorative approaches significantly improve outcomes for children and the quality and consistency of professional practice across the workforce.
Brighter Futures for Children are part of the NHS England restorative practice partnership programme, which also forms part of the One Reading Early Intervention Partnership aspiration to become a trauma-informed community. As part of this, free Restorative Practice Facilitators training, for those working directly with children, young people and their families in the Reading area, is taking place in June and July 2019.
There are a few places remaining on the courses beginning this month. You can download a leaflet for details of dates and locations and to find out more about the course content and commitment required from participants.
If you have any questions about the training you can contact Anna Batty on 0118 937 4731 or email Anna.Batty@brighterfuturesforchildren.org.
