Governors play an important role in helping to shape and support the emergency and non-emergency services that South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS) provides.
The role of Governor is entirely voluntary but also demanding and rewarding; they have specific statutory duties to fulfil and the opportunity to be the crucial link between our communities and the Trust. They represent the interests of the public, staff members and stakeholders in local communities, to help provide the best patient care.
They are expected to attend the majority of Council of Governors meetings (held four times a year in the evening). Governors are also expected to attend training, sub-committee meetings, community engagement forums and events, as well as the annual members’ meeting held each September.
You have until 5pm on Sunday 11 October 2020 to nominate yourself. Follow the links below to find out more.
