New sessions from Sport In Mind

Sport in Mind is starting two new sessions in April, including:

  • Women’s football at Prospect Park 3G Football Pitches, Reading RG30 2ND, Tuesdays between 12 pm and 1 pm
  • Yoga at Coronation Hall, Headley Road, Woodley, Reading RG5 4JB, Wednesdays between 2 pm and 3 pm.

These are in addition to over a dozen existing sessions that the charity runs, details of which can be seen in this schedule. The sessions are all drop-ins and open to people of all levels of ability with the aim of having fun in a safe and supported environment. Founded in 2011, Sport in Mind is a charity that provides local people experiencing mental health problems with the opportunity to engage in sport and physical activity in a safe and supported environment. The charity aims to use sport and physical activity to promote mental well-being, encourage social inclusion and empower people experiencing mental health problems to build a positive future for themselves, as well as help aid recovery and improve physical health.
