The King’s Fund, Comic Relief and the Big Lottery Fund have opened applications for a unique programme that enables charity leaders to help each other through sharing expertise and developing skills. The Cascading Leadership programme is designed for anyone who is leading an organisation in the sector that focuses on health and wellbeing. The organisation can be of any size, and either in the early stages of development or well established.

There are 80 places initially available on the programme, which is free to attend. Charities applying for places, worth up to an estimated £3,000, must show how their work improves health and wellbeing. Two opportunities are on offer,  as a consultant or as a partner.

By joining the programme as a consultant, you will:

  • develop a range of leadership and consultancy skills to use within your organisation and in wider networks

By joining as a partner, you will:

  • have the support of a highly experienced VCS leader who understands the sector and will help you work through the real challenges your organisation is facing
