Have you ever considered volunteering? What’s stopping you? Did you know that volunteering opportunities range from driving to designing websites, from first aid to fundraising?

Volunteering gives you the chance to acquire new skills, build your confidence, meet new friends, gain a perspective on community issues in Reading, add to your CV, share your experience and skills, take action on a local issue or reach out and support disadvantaged people.

To discuss volunteering opportunities you can make an appointment with a volunteer adviser and we will do a bit of preparation if you tell us the sort of thing you are looking for and what you might want to achieve.  Appointments are bookable 10.30am-4.30pm Monday – Friday.  Just give us a call on 0118 937 2733 or email hello@rva.org.uk

Or simply drop in to the RVA desk at the Elevate hub 9.30am-5pm and one of our advisers will be glad to help.

Don’t forget we also have a range of opportunities specifically designed for those aged 16-24, these can be found at our www.rvayouth.org.uk site
