Launching the Compass Recovery College in Reading

The Compass Recovery College will be formally launched in Reading on Wednesday 22 February at Greyfriars Church.  Come along between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm to find out about the Recovery College and all the courses which will be available to support people with mental health issues. The event will be attended by Cllr Rose Williams, the Deputy Mayor, and Cllr Graeme Hoskin, Reading’s member for health and the council’s mental health champion.

The Recovery College aims to promote good mental health and improve mental wellbeing. All the courses are free and are designed and delivered by people with lived experience of mental health challenges, clinical staff and other professionals.

The College’s  Spring/Summer prospectus  includes courses ranging from ‘Recovery through Creativity’, ‘Mindfulness’, ‘Skills for Life’ to ‘Getting a Good Night’s Sleep’ and ‘Food for Mood’. Download the full prospectus here
