The next meeting of Reading’s Health and Wellbeing Board is on Friday 18 January 2019. The meeting is in the Council Chamber and starts at 2pm. Members of the public are welcome to listen to the discussions. The agenda includes:

  • A report summarising progress made in delivering the SEND Strategy since July 2018, and the steps that have been taken to improve the transition between children’s and adults’ services.
  • A verbal update on the progress of the CQC Review of the Reading health and social care system – a number of voluntary organisations were invited to a meeting with inspectors as part of this review.
  • Reports giving the joint responses of Reading Borough Council and Berkshire West CCG to Healthwatch Reading’s reports presented to Board meeting last July on ‘Our Top Three Priorities’, giving a voice to ‘seldom heard’ people and ‘Working with Service Users with Mental Health Needs’.
