Grow Wild are looking for young people, aged 12 to 25, to enter their exciting new Get Creative competition or to apply for Transform a Space awards.

Have you got a brilliant idea to communicate the importance of native wild flowers and wild spaces in a creative way? Apply now for a Get Creative award. Or do you want to work with others to help transform a local space with native plants and wild flowers? Apply now for a Transform a Space award.

A panel of young people will be judging all entries from across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Get Creative looks for imaginative ideas that raise awareness about the importance of UK native wild flowers and plants using visual art or music, poetry and dance. Winning applicants will receive £500 to produce their creative artwork or to record their audio performance, plus the chance to exhibit or perform it outdoors at a high profile UK summer event. Transform a Space is looking for creative ideas for using a space or mobile floral display to communicate a message about UK native wild flowers and wild spaces.

Entries for this competition are invited under two age categories:

under 18s (for age 12 to 17)
over 18s (for age 18 to 25)

Please note: if you turn age 18 by 1 June 2016 please enter the over 18s category.

The deadline for entries is 22 February 2016. Winning entries will receive their £500 award in early March 2016 and will need to complete their project by 10 June 2016 (Get Creative) or mid-September 2016 (Transform a Space).
